QFD/TRIZ Based Mechanical Structure Design of Elderly Walker

Abstract To ensure the safety of elderly and to provide a convenient comfortable travel experience, walkers are widely used. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD)/Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) integrated model is constructed specific implementation process given by starting from mechanical structure product. Firstly, design requirements existing product obtained users interview, classified into three categories: walking state, stationary handling state travel. Then, on basis requirements, characteristic House (HOQ) for suitable was constructed, relationship matrix inside HOQ further analyzed integrate eliminate characteristics different products. Finally, negative correlation problem in autocorrelation quality roof extracted, after transforming it TRIZ problem, conflict stage eliminated using theory. Through combination two methods, objective requirement acquisition scientific positioning research ensured. This study verifies feasibility applied through practices.
